Amidst the great attention and expectation of all people and teachers of the country the 14th National Conference of Teachers (NCT) was held in the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium on September 3, 2019.
It was participated in by model teachers, officials of educational institutions, senior personnel of the educational authorities of central, provincial, city and county levels, and officials of education-related organizations including those that have actively supported the educational work. The conference made a review of the achievements and experience in the endeavor to implement the policy of the Workers' Party of Korea for making a radical turn in education in recent years and discussed practical matters to make a radical improvement in the field.
The conference set a landmark in accelerating the building of a socialist power of education and a talented nation by encouraging the teachers and educational officials to prepare themselves more fully as resolute champions and faithful adhererents of the WPK's educational policy, and as true revolutionaries and ardent patriots devoting themselves to education of the rising generation.
