The vice president of the FIE,Canada and Allen Roxas, president & majority owner of the State Properties Corporation, Philippines, on a visit to Pyongyang in August 2019, looked around Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology and Pyongyang University of Foreign Studies and they appreciated grand mass gymnastics and artistic performance “The Land of the People.” 

During their stay they had talks with officials of the Education Commission and other Korean agencies about matters of cooperation in education and expressed their intention of donation.
