In August 2019 KEF, in cooperation with FIE, Canada, arranged in Pyongyang an English training course for teachers of such universities as Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, Pyongyang Teachers Training College and provincial universities of education and teacher training colleges. 

Around 30 English teachers attended the course where several advanced methods and experience relating to the beginner's English course were presented, thus contirbuting to improving qualifications of university teachers.
