Paternal Care for the Future of the Country

(2024.6.3.)

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, on his visit to the Pyongyang Orphanage on the occasion of International Children's Day in Juche 103 (2014), took paternal care of the children, looking at the holiday menu for them, teaching how to make foods to the liking of the children and arranging to make the pheasant meat ball for the children of the orphanage.

On his visit to the Wonsan Baby Home and Orphanage on June 1, 2015 he said: You had better let the children cut the ribbon at the inauguration ceremony of the baby home and orphanage. Then, they would remember the day when they cut the ribbon of their home with their small hands even when they grow up. The great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il would be pleased to see them, too.

The chronicles of the country have a heart-warm story that he, in order to bring up all the children in the country, inspected a port in the intense mid-winter cold and proposed to establish a fishing station whose mission was to provide fish exclusively to the baby homes, orphanages, middle and primary schools for orphans across the country, and another story that he arranged to feed the children on cured persimmons on a regular basis, as well as meat and fish.
