Having set the year of Juche 107 (2018) that marked the 70^th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea as the one of science and education again, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the rebuilt Pyongyang Teachers Training College in January in spite of his heavy schedule. 

Showing great appreciation and giving important instructions while looking around the college, he said to his accompanying officials: Needless to say, we should improve educational conditions and environment in order to build a talent power, an educational power. And yet what is more important is to build up the teaching staffs. To this end the teacher training institutions should radically improve the quality of education and edification and train a large number of competent teachers.

He added: As a good breeding ground is essential for good seeds of good crops, we can train capable teachers badly needed for bringing up talented personnel only when we build up nice educational institutions. The shortcut to the building of a talent power, an educational power, lies in building up the teacher training institutions well and improving the teacher training work.

His words made the officials better aware why Kim Jong Un attached so much importance to the teacher training work. 

His instructions were priceless guideline for the officials in getting a view of a distant future of Juche-oriented education.
