One late-December day the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un talked with some officials, giving important instructions regarding affairs in the fields of science and education.

He, emphasizing the need to make huge investment in the fields of education and scientific research, said: We should concentrate our efforts on building up educational institutions and scientific research bases and providing good living conditions to teachers and scientists. That would be a wise way to prepare for the distant future.

The officials knew how much importance he attached to the work of developing education and science and technology which have a direct bearing on the rise and fall of a country and how deeply he was concerned with the matter of providing nice working and living conditions to teachers and scientists.

He continued to say that the fields of education and scientific research are the engine which leads all other fields to continuous leaps. He stressed: Only when we overhaul the engine and ensure it works to the best of its capacity, will we be able to advance vigorously towards the future, beating the world.
