The Pyongyang University of Foreign Studies, established on November 15, Juche 38 (1949), is the nation’s comprehensive base for training experts in over 20 foreign languages.

It has as many as 300 teachers and researchers possessed of academic degrees and titles including candidate academician, professor and PhD.

Based on regular educational systems including those of basic, special, talent, continuous, adult and public courses, it plays the role of a hub in giving education in foreign languages.
