The participants in the 9th Congress of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) had the honour of having a photo taken with the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, whom they had wished to see even in their dreams.

Going round the newly-built Pyongyang Middle School for Orphans, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un showed deep concern lest it should have a defect, however trifling it might be.

A meeting was held in January 2023 to convey the gifts sent by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to the delegates to the 9th Congress of the Korean Children’s Union (KCU) on the occasion of the congress.

During his visit to the renovated Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un instructed that the models displayed at its science hall should not be mere ornaments but visual aids for helping students broaden their horizons.
