The distance education faculty of Kim Chaek University of Technology is pushing ahead with the programme of upgrading the distance education system based on the mobile communication network.
Many technical issues has to be solved in the effort, which needs designing the system again as a whole, particularly the task of providing more convenient environment to the users for their studies as well as the one of developing browsers for different kinds of mobile phones.
Therefore, the faculty made a rational organization of the development team and gave specific assignments to each of the members, thus stepping up the work at a high speed.
Nowadays, the faculty is making an all-out effort for the development work to attain the target at an early date.
Once the distance education support system based on mobile communication network is updated, students will be able to receive education more satisfactorily at any time and at any place.
