Good educational conditions and environment were provided to the students in Ungchon-ri, Pongchon County under the Workers’ Party of Korea’s ennobling care for the rising generation.

Owing to an artificial lake built as part of the construction of a waterway, over 100 local students had to go a longer way to their school.

For the children in the primary school course at Ungchon Senior Middle School, the province built a new branch school in the relevant village and launched a boat for the students in the junior and senior middle school courses.

The sounds of children's reading ring out from each window of the branch school and the whistle of the school boat reverberates across the lake, adding to the sentiment of the mountain village.
