In July 2025, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un learned about the work of the Songdowon International Children’s Camp, and took measures for rearranging the schedule of the young campers.

The Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area was inaugurated in June that year, and everyone, especially the children, was eager to go the coastal resort before others. 

Having read their minds, Kim Jong Un took such a measure. Thanks to his loving care, the schoolchildren could spend a day at the wonderful coastal resort during summer vocation at the Songdowon International Children’s Camp.

When the Masikryong Ski Resort was built, Kim Jong Un said that winter camping should be organized at the camp so that the schoolchildren could ski there, and even took a measure for their transport to the resort. 

Now the schoolchildren enjoy their summer camping at the Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area, a world-class resort, at a scenic place on the east coast, thanks to his benevolent care.
