In March last year, a national workshop for the Korean Children’s Union instructors at schools, the first of its kind in the history of the country, was held with splendour in the capital city of Pyongyang amid the expectation and interest of the people.

However, the people know little about the touching story of how the grand workshop was held.

In January, Kim Jong Un made sure that the grand workshop was convened significantly in Pyongyang. In early February, busy as he was with the overall state affairs, he paid close attention to the scale of the grand workshop and its holding method, and the issues to provide its participants with lodging and boarding and organize their visits.

Several days later, on a significant holiday, too, he paid close attention to the issues related with the grand workshop, as he attached primary importance to the work of training KCU members into young revolutionaries and patriots and regarded the work for the rising generations as the most important of the state affairs.

The grand workshop, which was held under his meticulous guidance, served as an epochal occasion in bringing about a fresh turn in developing the work of the KCU at schools.

Thanks to the loving care of Kim Jong Un who cherishes the most ennobling outlook on the rising generations in the world, the Korean schoolchildren are growing up to be pillars of the country and strong future builders of communism.
