High Appreciation

(2025.5.20.)

One day in June 2013, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Condiments Factory, when he also looked round the nursery in the factory.

Enjoying the cosy, impressive sight of the nursery, he said that it looked wonderful.

One of the officials present there told him that a new variety of grass was planted in the section of the yard where children played and artificial turf was laid along the fence where amusement facilities were installed.

Casting another glance at the fine grass, Kim Jong Un said that as the grass looked really fine, he could hardly distinguish real grass from artificial turf.

Then looking fondly at the children frolicking on the grass, he talked about what he had felt on his visit to the Kyongsang Kindergarten.

That day, seeing the yard paved with concrete, he was worried that children might get hurt while playing there. He proposed to cover the yard with rubber mats or plant grass.

Recalling his visit to the kindergarten, he said it was very good that the Pyongyang Condiments Factory had covered the yard of the nursery with grass as he had advised.

He said that the nursery was the first place where the relevant policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea turned into reality.
