One day in June 2016, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the renovated Mangyongdae Children’s Camp.

While looking round several places of the camp he learned how it had been renovated and how it had made preparations for operation. He said: We are making revolution overcoming all the hardships and trials, and this is mainly for the good of our children. We should provide them with a happy life to be admired by the whole world, and ensure that the song We Are the Happiest in the World resound forever. I feel relieved of all my fatigue and pleased to look round this camp that has been finely renovated. 

That day he spent hours there, giving his advice of specific matters related with the management and operation of the camp. He said: WPK organizations and officials should be sensitive to the instructions and policies of the Party. They should have a correct understanding of priority in dealing with the many policy-oriented tasks. By doing so they can learn which one is of the greatest importance in preserving the original features of socialism and the advantages of the socialist system and concentrate their efforts on it. 

While listening to what he had to say, the officials realized once again that undertakings for the good of children are indeed the most important of the WPK’s affairs in maintaining socialism in its original form and displaying its advantages.
