One August day in 2019 the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un met officials and said that our Party’s plan and decision at present was to put the country’s level of education on the most developed one as early as possible by effecting a grand revolution in the educational work.

Along with the development of mankind, education has played a great role in carving out the destiny of men.

The destiny of a country and nation has been shaped on the basis of education. Moreover, in the present world, where science and technology is rapidly developing, competition for national strength is precisely a competition for science and technology, a competition for education and talents which supports it, and its fierceness is reminiscent of an invisible war.

Viewing the educational work as a direct factor decisive of success or failure of the country, Kim Jong Un directs great efforts to this end.

Looking at the officials, Kim Jong Un stressed once again the importance of educational work, saying that it is the most important of all state affairs and the lifeline for the building of a powerful socialist country.

His instructions were permeated with his ennobling intentions to build earlier a powerful socialist country by holding fast to education as the lifeline.
