A Replaced Slogan

(2024.10.20.)

One April day in 2014, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Songdowon International Children’s Camp nearing its inauguration.

He wore a broad smile on his face as he was pleased to present the wonderful camp to the children.

Then he asked officials why there were only three round decoration frames on the gatepost at the entrance to the camp.

The officials did not realize what he meant. At that time there were three round decoration frames inscribed with three letters Jidokche (ample knowledge, high morality and strong physique).

Kim Jong Un said it would be advisable to add more round frames and write the slogan “We Are the Happiest in the World” there.

The officials cheered as the slogan would add the character of the camp for the children.

But they could not fully understand why Kim Jong Un asked them to write the slogan.

In the auditorium of the international friendship children’s hall he stressed the need to put the slogan on the head of the stage.

Looking at the slogan on the office building, he said: I like that slogan most. It is the fighting goal of our Party to make our children and people live well-off with noting to envy in the world.

The slogan We Are the Happiest in the World makes me happy even when I am faced with challenging tasks.

Then the officials could realize his intention.

Cherishing the slogan in his mind, he hardened his will to devote himself for the good of the rising generations and continued his guidance trips to bring earlier the day when they would enjoy a happy life.
