One April day in 2015, the respected Comrade
Feasting his eyes on the Wonsan Baby Home and Orphanage, he said: I feel very happy as the buildings are impeccable when viewed not only at the front but also from behind. It is really a wonderful palace for children to be proud of before the world.
I am very pleased to picture in my mind the children playing to their heart’s content without any worry.
Looking up at him with a broad smile on his face, the officials recollected his loving care for children.
He proposed building a new baby home and orphanage not only in the capital city but in all provinces as required by the times and took all measures to this end.
And two months ago, he, on his inspection trip to frontline units, visited the construction site of the Wonsan Baby Home and Orphanage and solved problems arising in the project.
And today he visited them again and expressed great satisfaction, visualizing the children playing cheerfully. His was the image of a father who would find his pleasure in the work for his own children.
After a while, he said he felt as if he had plucked a star from the sky, and went on with pleasure: Such a palace for children like the Wonsan Baby Home and Orphanage can be erected only in our socialist system where the whole country forms a large harmonious family, helping and caring for one another.
He underscored the need to finish the project perfectly and hold a ceremony of their inauguration on June 1, International Children’s Day.
Looking up at him, the officials were firmly resolved to support in practice his ennobling intention for the rising generations.
