On November 30, Juche 107 (2018) the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, as soon as he arrived at the January 8 Fishery Station, got aboard a boat. He first asked how long it took for Tanphung-series fishing boats to return with a full load.

Listening to the reply from the manager of the station, he said with regret that the fish might lose its soundness in the hold before it reached the port.

After a while of talking about the topic he said that the problem of fish soundness and quality should be considered. Then he continued to say: This station is different from others since I myself organized it for orphans. It should lead others both in hauling and quality of fish.

Now he took a necessary measure for it.

His care for orphans touched the heartstring of the officials.
