Songyo Junior Middle School in Songyo District, affiliated to Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, has directed efforts to comprehensive and scientific evaluation of the qualifications of teachers.
From the point of view that the teaching is a kind of art the school paid special attention to judging the ability to communicate with students and lead a class in an interesting way.
Thus, on the basis of a concrete analysis of the level of each teacher, experienced and competent teachers were encouraged to take charge of teachers with a lower qualification and raise their level higher in a short period of time.
Teachers with a lower level of special ability were encouraged to get well versed in the subject contents, and those with a lack of teaching skills were encouraged to raise the level of practical teaching skills.
The combination of this work with practical courses such as the creation of teaching methods made it possible to improve the overall qualifications of teachers and thus improve the level of education and the ability of students.
As a result, the school successfully developed five new excellent teaching methods which are based on virtual reality technology, augmented reality technology and artificial intelligence technology last year, and helped to introduce them nationwide.
