The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School on March 2, Juche 106 (2017).

Meeting some students who were planting trees, he stroked their cheeks and kindly asked how old they were, what year they were in and how they liked their work and organizational life.

Now he said: I asked myself where to go and plant trees on the Tree-planting Day, when the children of the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School came across my mind. So I decided to be here.

Noting that the patriotism of the children will grow as the trees they plant and tend grow inch by inch, he said that only when they have a warm love for their country from their childhood will they be able to become a true patriot who voluntarily does a job for the prosperity of the country.

Kim Jong Un planted trees together with the children, giving detailed helpful advice on how to plant trees.

Under his guidance, the students stepped up their work in high spirits.

Examining the state of the planted trees one by one, Kim Jong Un said that the students had all planted the trees well, adding that when they grew up and came to the place, they would remember that day while looking at tall and healthy trees.
