The construction of Pongjae Senior Middle School, Yonthan County was completed in December 2020, which was a cooperation project of the KEF with the Yonthan County People’s Committee and Unitas, NA.

After the construction began in April 2018 the foundation floor was finished in late October 2018, the ground floor in April 2019, the first floor in August, and the second floor and walls in late November.

The construction restarted in April 2020, the interior plastering work was completed in early July, the installation of plastic windows and classroom doors was done in October, and the landscaping and outer wall painting works were done in November.

Thus the school building was ready to open in early December.
