Supreme Leader
He said that he was there in the university as he had decided to visit Pyongyang University of Architecture after thinking a lot which one of the educational institutions he would visit. It was because the university was in an important position in building a civilized socialist power, he said, and added that the university was the base for training talented personnel in Juche-oriented architecture and an outpost in building a civilized socialist country.

It was such great an honour that the officials of the university could hardly hold back their surging excitement. While looking round different places of the university he proposed to construct buildings for the university anew. Then, he said: I think I will take charge of supporting the construction project myself. We should develop the university wonderfully so that can tell anyone who wants to see a model of architecture to go and see the newly built Pyongyang University of Architecture.
He, watching the students design buildings for some projects, said in a worried voice that the designing tables looked too low, that he was afraid the students must be standing over their design as there was no chair beside the designing tables, and that, if so, they would have backache. I myself feel pain in the back when I stand in position for some 30 minutes while examining a blueprint, he said, and joked that if they kept working in a standing position like that the students might turn into hunchbacks.
No one had ever noticed the inconvenience the students might have over the height of the designing table, until the Supreme Leader showed such fatherly care for it.
